Salmon Piccata Recipe by Mr.Make It Happen


  • 2 lbs salmon

  • 1 cup dry white wine

  • 1/2 cup chicken or seafood broth

  • 3-4 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 diced shallot

  • 3-4 tbsps butter

  • 1/4 cup capers

  • 1/4 cup diced parsley

  • AP, Lemon Bae, Hot AP (use whatever seasoning you enjoy on salmon)

  • Optional - 1 Lemon



  1. Season both sides of the salmon

  2. Heat the pan over medium heat, and add salmon to the pan.

  3. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.

  4. Add 2-3 tablespoons of butter to pan-baste salmon with butter.

  5. Finish in a 400-degree oven for 10 minutes or desired doneness


  1. Use leftover butter to cook shallot and garlic add a tablespoon of lemon juice and a quarter cup of cappers and red pepper flakes (optional) to season the sauce.

  2. Add parsley then deglaze the pan with a half cup of white wine.

  3. Reduce your sauce down, kill the heat add 2 tablespoons of butter.

  4. Pour sauce over cooked salmon serve and enjoy!
